Invitations

Make sure everyone knows that there's party going on with one of these invitations.

• You're going to Hollywood!" The sentence is synonymous with the first American Idol episodes of each season, so there will be no mistaking where this party leads. Recreate the "Idol" logo on a piece of paper before adding the "Hollywood" message. Then write down the details (time, date, and location).

Decorations

Announce your party with the American Idol personalized birthday banner. Display it marquee-style with a message such as "'Idol' comes to (city or location)!" Hang it over the doorway or above the stage.

Set a stage up on one wall of the room, using lengths of streamers to frame the arena and make a curtain. If possible, line the ceiling and floor in front of the stage with balloons so that they look like the bright lights of Hollywood. More streamers against the wall make a great backdrop for the stage.
