Dancing AND Partyin
I threw a disco party for my 13 year old daughter, some of her friends and their family's. The party turned out great including funky music, nice backdrops, wacky outfits, and a runway show to strut your stuff.
We had glow sticks, great food(including a punch fountain), a real disco ball, and karaoke songs people loved to sing! Everyone love comparing costumes and singing popular hits back in the 70s. We passed out the glow sticks when it was time for the runway! the kids loved it!
To decorate we taped 70s albums and album covers all over the wall of the place we rented. There was streams and posters every where. We had streamers in the door way so when u entered it felt like you stepped into the 70s. It was really a great time. and a party any age can enjoy.
Everyone looks forward to our parties every year. This is definitely going to be a hard one to BEAT! Hope you enjoyed hearing about this party. and hopefully you’ll be able to use some ideas. All i can say is everyone had fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun. the karaoke was a crazy fun time the kids got creative with the song choices and my daughter and her friends even added dance moves to their performance of ring my bell lol.
The runway was fun to the was a stage we set up and every1 had to strike a pose. we danced to our feet where tired and everyone had fun. it was a lot of work but in the end it was worth it because my daughter and her friends had fun. and that’s all i asked for in the end. so yes it was worth the time and money and of coarse the headache.
