Coolest 21st Christmas Sweater Extravaganza
Why we love printable Christmas party games? Here is the answer...
The name of the game is ugly sweaters. We don't care what they look like as long as they are not visually appealing. The uglier the better. The tackier the better. Try to wear something so bad that people on the street would laugh at the sight of you. If it is loud and something you wouldn't get caught dead donning in public then that is what you need to wear to this party.
That was the idea we told the invited guests and they showed up in droves to this party. It seemed that everyone had an ugly sweater hiding in the closet that was dying to get out and see the world. The creativity displayed at this party was incredible.
Some people went far enough to customize their own sweaters to make something that no one could buy in stores. One guy even added Christmas lights and a battery pack to his sweater to transform him into a walking Christmas tree. Everywhere he went people were delighted to see him.
For a long time I've felt that dress up parties are a great way to meet people. Even if you do not particularly like parties or big gatherings, a dress up party tends to bring the shyest of people out of their shells. Being at a party with everyone dressed as silly as you creates for a party-goer a feeling of acceptance even in a group of people you don't know very well.
And then getting to know someone is even easier. All you have to do is go up to them and ask them about their sweater. It is the perfect ice breaker and before you know it you've made a number of ridiculously-dressed new friends. From then on everyone opens up, loses their inhibitions, and proceeds to have a great time.
Indeed, some of the best times with my friends revolve around dress up parties. This Christmas party was no exception. The great memories provided by the Christmas Sweater Extravaganza are some that will certainly stay with me for a lifetime.
