Coolest Princess Barbie Christina's 4th Birthday Cake
by Linda Robinson
I made this cake for a real little princess on her 4th birthday, her name is Christina. She is a triplet she has two brothers. The cake was made with allot of love.
First I baked the cake using three different size stainless bowls for her dress. The Barbie doll that I used was a ballerina Barbie doll. I found the princess wand at the Dollar store and I cut it to make the Tara for her head, she was perfect for the cake . I put her in the cake in the cake using a biscuit cutter to make a hole in each layer.
The cake was Betty Crocker Super Moist chocolate with chocolate almond mousse filling, that I made with chocolate instant pudding, whipping cream ,honey and almond extract. I decorated her with buttercream frosting using # 18 wilton star tip . I found the candle Disney princess theme on eBay, to put around the cake. The bottom cake was made with a square baking pan , That cake was yellow for those who didn't like chocolate.
This cake was such a great project for me and the reward I got from seeing Christina's little face when she looked at it was priceless. She got to keep the doll after we cut the cake.
