Down on the Farm Birthday!

I started with what my son loves best, John Deere Tractors! Using a round cake made it easy to put a variety of pictures and items on the cake. This is a yellow cake (family favorite) with home made icing using vanilla as special flavoring. The rocks on top and on the side were fun to add some realistic decoration, and I feel the red really popped on the cake. The tractor was just shaped and then frosted, using pretzels covered in frosting for the smoke stacks. All in all it was a fun cake to make and even better to see my little guy smile!
