Hot Potato Halloween Style

This simple game is a must for younger children (below 2nd grade) and is a great way to entertain kids while setting up for the party or next activity.

Simply have the kids sit in a circle. You'll need a stuffed animal (I use my pumpkin for Halloween) and music fitting for the party. Have the children pass the pumpkin and when the music stops whoever has it is out. The circle gets smaller and smaller and the laughter gets louder and louder. When I go to visit my two son's classes, they always want to play this game. The best part is you can change items and music to make it fit any holiday party!!
