Have all of the kids pair up in teams, and an adult who will be willing to play if there is an odd number of kids! Don't let anyone be left out! Each team is given a roll of toilet paper. The idea is that one of the team stands straight up with arms at side and the other rolls toilet paper around them from head to toe. First team to completely wrap their partner wins! Then, switch partners, give each team another roll of toilet paper, and the other one wraps!
I use the dollar store brand because it's cheaper if you are going to waste it, and it also breaks easier, which is more fun listening to the kids laugh and scream when it breaks and they have to start all over!
P.S. If you like the gory side of Halloween - you can use some of the wasted toilet paper to help your guests make their own scary 'wounds' using common household items! Vaseline, red food coloring, cocoa, and shredded toilet paper:
Use a toothpick to mix 3-4 drops of red food coloring into a dollop of petroleum jelly (e.g., Vaseline).
Stir in enough cocoa (a pinch or so) to darken the red color to a deeper, blood-like tint.
Separate the tissue and tear out a small rectangle (3x2 inches) from a single layer of the paper.
Place the tissue at the wound site and cover it with the petroleum jelly mixture.
Mold the tissue into a wound shape, with the edges raised higher than the center of the wound.
Add some petroleum jelly mixture to the center of the wound.
Sprinkle cocoa at the edges of the wound to darken it. Add cocoa to the wound center if a scabby (as opposed to fresh) appearance is desired.
Have a great time!
