Panepinto Jungle Party

The ideas for the Panepinto jungle party were developed months before the big day. I think we had as much fun planning as she did at the party!

Let me describe the scene.

As you walked onto the lanai, you could here jungle themed music playing and could see animal prints scattered on the ground. The lanai was decorated with animal print fabric (from the Goodwill store), pith hats, and stuffed animals (all of which were refurbished from my school's annual book sale).

When you walked outside you could hear the safari animal sounds coming from the trees(from a radio conspicuously hidden in the plants).

My decorations were hand made: the elephant, the tent, the jungle coloring center, and the birthday girl's sign. We had bamboo and palm fawns positioned against the house. There were animal print balloons everywhere!

Everyone had a great time making their animal masks and eating bamboo rods (pretzel sticks with caramel and crushed nuts). Finally, we enjoyed a "made-with-love" crispy monkey cake to end the day.
