Yogi Bear Suprise Party

We were trying to figure out something fun to do for my cousins fifth birthday. She loves camping and the outdoors and her favorite cartoon charecther is Yogi Bear. (GASP!)

I know its not Hannah Montana. So we decided to take her to the local Forest Preserve and have a picnic birthday.

We did the whole thing with the blanket and basket set up for the picnic and had all the good party supplies. Baloons, games, cake, musics.

As we went to eat our food we made sure the basket was gone and left "clues" to where to find it. We made sure the clues were simple and led to Yogi. We had Yogi (my dad in Yogi costume) off in the park with the picnic basket for my cousin and the other kids to find.

My cousin loved it! She got to meet Yogi and get her picture taken. You can set this up any way you want and any where. You can do all sorts of games and food just like a regular party and simply incorporate Yogi or another Cartoon Character.

The Yogi costumes was easy to find and only cost $50 to rent. There are all sorts of costumes you can find and a lot you can do with them.
